My first introduction to audiobooks came when I was about ten, when my godfather gave me Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire on cassette tape – in German! I listened to those tapes endlessly. Years later, after moving to the States, I discovered the Jim Dale versions and fell in love all over again with the power of voice and imagination.

That love of stories and curiosity about what happens behind the scenes eventually led me to voiceover. I have always been fascinated by how much emotion and personality can come through a single voice, whether it is in a film, a game, or an audiobook.

The real push came when I was reading The Thief Lord, one of my favorite childhood books, to my kids. Their reactions of “do that voice again” and “wait, didn’t he have an accent” reminded me how much fun it is to build characters through sound!

Today, I bring that same energy and creativity to every project I take on, from romantasy and fiction narration to corporate explainers, video games, and bilingual storytelling in English and German.
